Lele Luiza is a Brazilian born, Brooklyn-resident and a children's culture researcher since 1989. She founded Let's Playgroup in 2002 when she moved to New York. In November 2015 she created the Childhood Rescue Project and has since dedicated herself to the work of preserving and affirming the children's culture among children at risk situation.

Between two trips to Greece, working at EKO Station camp and Vasilika camp, Lele has engaged the children by playing, building toys and meditating.

WHO ARE WE

Karen Sztajnberg is a Brazilian born, filmmaker and video-artist based in New York. She came to the USA in 1994, to finish her studies and has worked extensively as an editor, writer and teaching film.

Peter Gabriel is an Austrian-born, also living in Brooklyn, NY, trained in photography. Was brought into the fold of this project on Lele's second trip and started contributing with his language and professional skills.

Peter taught German and Photography at Eko's Vasilika camp.
